Pet Sitting

  • Our professional sitters work 365 days a year. For pet sitting visits that fall on a major holiday, we do charge an additional $10 per visit. The Holiday fee applies on New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.

    Note: 100% of this fee goes directly to your pet sitter as a thank you for spending the holidays with your pet(s).

    **During the Thanksgiving & Christmas/New Year holidays, and also the week of Spring Break, there is a minimum of 3 visits for your reservation.**

  • We love all pets! Our team of pet sitters offers services for dogs, cats, rabbits, certain reptiles, fish, birds, guinea pigs, hamsters, and more! Email us or call us for information.

  • We go above and beyond to personalize our services in order to ensure your pets receive the best care possible! Our members all have a thorough background check and are pet CPR/First Aid certified. We have successfully served over 500 clients in the Austin area and proudly boast a 5-star rating on Google, as well.

  • Our team is trained in use of most oral medications and creams. However, we cannot administer medications orally to cats (we will for dogs). We also do not administer insulin shots for either dogs or cats.

  • Absolutely! Our team is trained to handle and confidently care for a wide variety of pets so that you can be truly at ease when you’re away from home.

  • We understand how hard it can be to know exactly what your pet needs while you’re away. That’s why we provide our one-on-one consultations with our clients to discuss all the details of your home and your pet, which helps to ensure you choose the right service for you & your pet.   • Rain or shine, our dog walkers will always make sure to show up to your home to take your pet out to potty! However, the weather may not always permit a safe walking environment (for your pet or others around them). In such cases, our team member will instead provide an engaging playtime and/or cuddle session instead.

  • We will only walk the dogs that are yours. We do not “pack walk” dogs. Meaning, pets that are not yours will not be joining us on our walks.

  • Absolutely! You will receive visit information & a photo from your sitter/walker as each visit

    comes to an end.

  • Yes! Stayin’ Home Pet Care is fully insured & bonded to provide you peace of mind that your

    pet is cared for by a truly qualified and professional team and your home is safe.

  • We understand that your day to day work life can change when you wake up in the morning. You're sick, your chid is not feeling well, your work shift has changed, etc. In these cases, all you have to do is let the office know you need to cancel for the day and that is it! There will not be a cancellation fee

  • Stayin’ Home Pet Care accepts payment via credit card through our secure merchant account. For your convenience, we will keep your credit card on file in our secure system.

  • With the exception of apartments, we do not take possession of client keys. You have a few options as to how you prefer we gain access to your home: 1. Front door or garage door keypad 2. Lockbox 3. Hidden key (WELL-hidden key!) 4. Sitter pick up/drop off for $12. If clients choose to use a keypad or lock box, a second key must be hidden on the property or with neighbors in the event of power outages, low battery issues or if the lock box will not open.
